Subaru Forester Perfect for Families

A new review of the Subaru Forester is out -- and this review is not from a car expert. Instead it's written by a mom of two children with a third on the way. A few weeks ago Lauren Jimeson took the Subaru 2014 Forester for a vacation to the Hamptons with her family from New York City for some much deserved relaxation and fell in love with the car.

Having lived in the city…

Subaru's Niche

Subaru sales are up 412% over last year, causing a lot of people to make projections about Subaru's next direction. A poll at Autoblog.com asks if Subaru should go mainstream or if the car maker should stay in the niche of providing perfect cars for drivers who want to get out and find excitement. Unsurprisingly, the poll is overwhelmingly in favor of Subaru staying in a niche market and serving those individuals and…

Subaru Legacy’s Engine Outweighs Competition

In a recent review by the New York Daily News, they compare the Subaru Legacy to other cars in its class as well as to Porsche. Why? Over Steering and Under Steering

Subaru has a number of active safety systems that act towards keeping you safe, instead of just passive safety systems that only come into play once something bad has started to happen. Passive safety systems include things like break-away engines that won't go inside of the passenger compartment during a crash, whereas active safety systems include things like Subaru's all-wheel drive system.

This system prevents both over steer and under steer, two big…

Launch Control

When we last left Launch Control, David Higgins and his team had fallen to 21st place after a crash, leaving them with much work to do, and Subaru's Rally Cross team had yet to see a race with the first event rained out in Barcelona. For Higgins, this means a hard climb to the top to keep championship points towards the National Championship. For Rally Cross, they're looking at two events over a…
