We're back with another episode of Launch Control, the Subaru series that's following the trials and triumphs of Subaru's Rally and RallyCross drivers throughout the season this year. Episode 9 focuses on Subaru's three RallyCross drivers in Loudon, New Hampshire. This time it's all about small victories for the team as they push their cars to the maximum to get towards the podium for the first time this season.

 

A new review of the Subaru Forester is out -- and this review is not from a car expert. Instead it's written by a mom of two children with a third on the way. A few weeks ago Lauren Jimeson took the Subaru 2014 Forester for a vacation to the Hamptons with her family from New York City for some much deserved relaxation and fell in love with the car.    

Subaru sales are up 412% over last year, causing a lot of people to make projections about Subaru's next direction. A poll at Autoblog.com asks if Subaru should go mainstream or if the car maker should stay in the niche of providing perfect cars for drivers who want to get out and find excitement. In a recent review by the New York Daily News, they compare the Subaru Legacy to other cars in its class as well as to Porsche. Why? Subaru and Porsche are the only two car manufacturers that use flat engines, which Subaru calls the Boxer engine. While Porsche tries to eke out more high octane performance from their engines, Subaru works towards creating a safer, more efficient car.   

We all know Subarus are great cars to purchase because they're dependable, safe, and a good value. But did you know that Subaru has been beating out the competition throughout our history? A recently throwback review pitted the 2011 Subaru Forester against another 2011 crossover and the Subaru came out on top for both off-road driving and on-road driving.
