Community Involvement

Involved

At Adventure Subaru, we believe in getting involved in our community. There's nothing more important than our customers. Getting involved in our local communities is one part of our desire to give back to new and returning customers. But how exactly do we get involved? Read on to find out.

What We Do

The biggest ways we get involved with our surrounding communities is through various programs and events. All of those programs are under our Subaru Love Promise program. This program focuses on dedicating ourselves to making the world a better place. This is achieved by respecting everyone we come across, helping to clean up certain areas, and providing love and support to those who need it. This program is divided up into smaller categories.

Subaru is dedicated to supporting those who need it the most in our communities. From donating food to Feeding America, providing essential items to homeless shelters, helping Meals on Wheels deliver meals to seniors, or supporting the American Red Cross in disaster response, we believe our communities get stronger when everyone is cared for.

This past January, we hosted a donation drive for 7Hills Homeless Center, as well as donating socks and blankets to our neighbors in need.

Subaru Loves the Earth is all about loving the environment, and loving the environment means taking the time to preserve it. We are a Certififed Eco-Friendly Retailer, with conservation in mind. You'll find low-flow toilets and faucets throughout the dealership. We recycle cardboard, alumninum cans, plastic bottles and paper through the City of Fayetteville. Through our partnership with Terracycle, we recycle paper cups, coffee and creamer pods, plastic snack wrappers, plus cabin air filters and new vehicle plastic.

By picking up littered trash, promoting recycling, and so much more, we aim to bring awareness to our beloved planet. We have over a two mile stretch of the Razorback Greenway we've adopted that we maintain by hosting trail cleanups throughout the year.

Subaru Loves to Care focuses on donating and partnering with patients in hospitals. Everyone deserves a chance, and we aim to help make a difference. This June will mark the 7th year that Subaru and their retailers have partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to bring love and hope to these brave patients in the form of warm blankets and hand-written notes of encouragement. Our local partner is Hope Cancer Resources and Highlands Oncology.

Subaru Loves Learning focuses on helping out with education around Northwest Arkansas. We provide donations to schools, teachers, and students all to help make sure our next generations get the education they deserve. Last year, we partnered with Asbell Elementary to adopt all of their classrooms through Adopt-A-Classroom.
During the month of August, you'll find us in the community stocking Little Libraries. This is made possible by Ozark Literacy Council and their donation of books.

Subaru Loves Pets focuses on supporting the rescue, transport, adoption, and well-being of pets across the country. Whether those be lovable dogs, curious cats, adorable rabbits, or whatever else, we aim to help provide our furry friends with what they need most in Northwest Arkansas. In October, we host a donation drive for our partnering shelter, Big Paws of the Ozarks. An adoption event also takes place.
