Have you ever wonder what it's like to take a 8,500 mile road trip? You can find out in the summer issue of Drive Magazine from Subaru as it follows Craig and Samantha on their journey from Alaska to Pennslyvania, stopping at over 20 points of interest on the way through 14 states, two Canadian provinces, and one Canadian territory.

It was quite the trip and put their Subaru to the test after two years of climbing mountain roads in Alaska.

During their trip they car camped across the United States to save money, packing and unpacking supplies from their Subaru Outback to make a comfortable sleeping area for their dog Bowie. Their drive took them down the Alcan Highway, to Crater Lake, the Grand Canyon, and even Half-Dome for an attempt at the summit in Yosemite. You can read the full article in the current issue of Drive.

If you've ever wanted to take a long tour of the United States, there's no car better for it than a Subaru. With ample storage space in the passenger compartment, it can hold enough supplies to last through the whole trip. The capabilities of the Subaru can get you anywhere you want to go without problems. The roads leading to some of the best sights in North America are remote and sometimes poorly maintained. They're challenging, but the end of the road is worth the effort -- especially in a Subaru.

Subarus are reliable and have active safety features to keep you safe no matter what lies ahead on the road, from a tricky curve that calls for all-wheel drive to a bison crossing the road lazily in front of you. It's no wonder that Subarus are a top choice for those who like to get to unique places to enjoy all the road has to offer.
