Subaru Snatchers in the Pacific Northwest

Portland, Oregon is known for being a generally pleasant place. It’s also known for harboring an abundance of mustaches and lots and lots of Subarus.

As you may know, men with mustaches are typically villains in films from the silent movie era. Portland being a haven for silent movie villains could be one possible explanation for the large number of Subaru vehicles that have been stolen in and around the city of Portland.

The Moki Dugway

Now, obviously this fellow should have been driving with both hands on the wheel, especially when you consider the road that he’s driving on and how big his vehicle is, but it’s still a pretty sweet video. The road in the video is the Moki Dugway. It’s absolutely beautiful, borderline terrifying, and breathtaking either way you look at it.

The Moki Dugway is located 3 miles north of Mexican Hat on Utah…

Most. Adorable. Car. Ever.

The Subaru 360, or the Ladybug as it was known in Japan, was the first mass-produced Subaru vehicle. It was produced from 1958 to 1971, and may very well be the most adorable little vehicle you’ve ever seen.

The tininess of this Subaru can’t be over-stated. The Subaru 360 was technically classified as a microcar and it weighed just 1,000 pounds! 1,000 pounds is a half a ton, or the median…
