If you're into cars you should definitely check it out the show "Roadkill." "Roadkill" caters to car guys and car gals who are looking to be entertained by people who know a lot about cars.

In the most recent episode, hosts David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan pitted three of their jerry-rigged hotrods against the 2015 Subaru Legacy in a triad of competitions. Pride and facial hair were at stake.

David and Mike are car guys without the dressings. The show isn't about beautiful cars in pristine condition, freshly waxed and never driven. "Roadkill" is about putting know-how to use and pushing cars to their limits. They believe that a car should be driven, not just looked at -- which coincides with Subaru’s philosophy.

Subaru challenged the "Roadkill" crew to three different competitions. First was a barrel race, followed by a lap on a legitimate rally course, topped off with an "urban apocalypse road race."

Subaru could have chosen a WRX or STI for the competition and just blown the "Roadkill" guys out of the water, but they took a more sporting approach and chose the 2015 Subaru Legacy. No turbo, no upgraded components, just like any other Legacy you could find on a car lot.

David and Mike, on the other hand, assemble hotrods in Frankenstein fashion to create the burliest and most formidable jalopies you've ever seen. It's not every day that someone turbocharges the engine of a $500 car. Their vehicles are all about power and they must frequently replace the cables that are held in place with electrical tape.

Subaru handily won two of the events, and only lost the barrel race by a hair because the Legacy handled too well. The all wheel drive and traction control that comes standard with Subaru vehicles proved to give too much stability on turns! It was virtually impossible to whip the tail end of the Legacy around, which makes it safer albeit less fast. But most folks probably won't be whipping figure eights in a rodeo arena.   The video is a full 45 minutes long, but even it's definitely worth watching.
