Here at Adventure Subaru, we take our role in the community very seriously. Our team is dedicated to supporting the Northwest Arkansas community in which we live and work. You can see our support in our partnerships with local nonprofits, charities, organizations and events- including those in education, health, community, environment, and animal organizations. It’s all part of our Love Promise to do what is right and good, just for the sake of doing it. Read on to learn more about some of the wonderful things Adventure Subaru has been a part of lately.

Tontitown Grape Festival

Last month, we partnered with the Tontitown Grape Festival to help bring one of the biggest annual festivals in Northwest Arkansas to life. As their Presenting Sponsor, we helped to provide live entertainment for festival-goers to enjoy free of charge. The Grape Festival also featured a brand new Subaru Crosstrek as its 2018 Grand Prize Giveaway! With all-wheel drive, remote keyless entry, a rear vision camera, all-weather floor liners and a lot more amazing features; the Crosstrek was a hot commodity at the event. The lucky winner was Angela Ariola of Springdale, AR. Congratulations, Angela!

Fayetteville Roots Festival

After the Grape Festival wrapped up, the Adventure Subaru team started gearing up for the Fayetteville Roots Festival, which took place a couple of weeks later. The Roots Festival is a five-day, intimate, urban music and food festival that features more than 10 music stages as well as multiple culinary stages and events. Festival goers can enjoy nationally known musicians along with undiscovered regional and local talent. The Roots Festival is a showcase of the many elements that make the Fayetteville community and Northwest Arkansas region a beloved cultural hotspot, so of course Adventure Subaru had to be a part of it!

Apple Seeds

This summer, Adventure Subaru also partnered with Apple Seeds Inc. to sponsor their kids camp, The Kids Table. Apple Seeds is a Fayetteville-based nonprofit organization that creates programs to educate and excite young students about healthy food and increase students’ access to those healthy foods. It’s all about connecting kids in our community with where their food comes from, and giving them the resources, information and inspiration they need to go back home and start cooking and eating healthier. We love being able to help promote positive change in the lives of these children!

Ozark Literacy Council

You may have already read our blog about the partnership between Adventure Subaru and the Ozark Literacy Council, a nonprofit that offers free English classes and tutoring to adults in Washington County. Their mission is to improve people’s lives by expanding and promoting literacy within the community. Adventure Subaru hosted a book drive benefiting the OLC, and in addition to raising over $1200 from the month-long event, we presented the nonprofit with a check for $2,000. Adventure Subaru loves learning, so this was a significant moment for us. We are always honored to be able to help out with these local organizations that do so much good, and we look forward to doing it time and time again.

Keep an eye out for future events in NWA  involving Adventure Subaru. We always enjoy being immersed in the culture of our community and giving back in any way that we can.
