Some cars are built for comfort and some are built for speed, right? Some sports cars can give your spine a rough time. Subaru's BRZ, however, doesn't make occupants suffer through a terrible ride just to enjoy driving a fun car.
Cars.com reviewers have been driving the BRZ since it first
was available on the market and have loved every second of it, including longroad trips.
It's all because of the seats in the BRZ. Reviewers said that they supplied
just the right amount of support without being overly hard. "The BRZ's front seats are
heavily bolstered and firm, but not uncomfortably so, with support in the right
places," reviewers write. With one reviewer clocking in over 400-miles in those
seats, you can say their word on the subject is reliable.
Sports
cars, by nature, ride much harder than a commuter sedan or SUV because they're
made to respond to road surfaces better. But that often means that you're
tossed around when you're driving on rough terrain. While the Subaru BRZ isn't much
different, reviewers said they didn't feel uncomfortable at any point in the
ride. Instead of sacrificing drivability for maneuverability, Subaru found a
good balancing point with the seating.
If
you're considering a sports car, be sure to come test drive the BRZ and see
just how comfortable the seats are compared to other sports cars. In this case,
it's a good thing that looks don't always tell you the whole story.
