Subaru's BOXER® Flat-Four engine is a legend, and the 2.4-liter version for the WRX continues the legacy. The engine delivers 271 horsepower and generates a peak of 258 pound-feet of torque. For a performance vehicle, the WRX also has a fuel economy rating of 19 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. The top trim also rips from zero to 60 miles per hour in 5.5 seconds. Drivers can choose between versions with a continuously variable or six-speed manual transmission. Every WRX uses an all-wheel drive, too.

Exterior

The 2024 WRX has one of the meanest fronts of any four-door sedan around Bentonville, AR. Sharp lines and angled elements give the WRX something of a 1980s-style retro-futuristic vibe. TR

The TR trim gets exciting with Recaro® seats, 19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, and performance springs. You can also go up the GT trim to add electronically controlled shocks, selectable drive modes, a variable torque distributor, and an engine management system.
