Refreshed Design for 2023

The Subaru Legacy has two engine options: a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 182 horsepower or a turbocharged 2.4-liter for 260 horsepower. If you want maximum fuel efficiency, you'll want to stick with the standard engine. For an enhanced driving experience, the turbo-boosted engine can hit 0-60mph in 6.1 seconds, a significant upgrade from the standard engine's 8.0 seconds. The upgraded engine comes standard on the Sport trim level and XT models.
No matter which engine is under the hood, every Subaru Legacy comes with Subaru's legendary symmetrical all-wheel drive and smooth, continuously variable transmission.
Industry-Leading Safety Technology
The standard Subaru EyeSight suite of safety features has several improvements this year, including updates to the adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance technology.
