In our experience, very few drivers from the Bentonville and Rogers, AR area were calling for a Subaru Crosstrek with a manual transmission. With that in mind, we're confident there won't be too many protesting the new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, which will be sold exclusively with a CVT automatic setup. But for that minor loss, there's a lot that's new with the 2024 Crosstrek, which we're expecting to arrive here at our Fayetteville, AR Subaru dealership later this spring or at least by early summer. A few years back, the Subaru Crosstrek added a new engine level, offering more power and even a slight boost in fuel economy over the still-efficient and sensible base four-cylinder. As the 2024 edition sticks to its overall style and engine levels, there are some welcome improvements for its chassis, which is now stiffer and helps to reduce road noise, as well as extra features you'll appreciate. However, if you're set or used to a manual transmission, you'll have to stick with the CVT for your new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek.
Though the overall shape and style of the 2024 Crosstrek carries over, this updated version adds more black body cladding, while the Sport trim adds even more pops of styling. A newly available tablet-style touchscreen shows drivers that Subaru is streamlining its lineup, especially with the higher trims of its cars and SUVs like the Crosstrek. Meanwhile, the Subaru EyeSight suite of driver aids is now standard in the 2024 Crosstrek, which carries over for previous versions with the available CVT, but of course that transmission is now standard across the board.
