A little over 25 years ago, the Subaru Outback was just a trim level of the Legacy's L wagon variant. But in 1996, Subaru would give the Outback its own spot in the lineup, increasing ride height, elevating the roofline, and offering a more powerful available engine. Offering car-like drivability and efficiency and the versatile capability of an SUV, the Outback became the industry's first sport-utility wagon, and began building Subaru's reputation for durability and intrepidness.

Today, Subaru has become synonymous with adventure. It's one of our favorite characteristics of the brand and the reason for our dealer name. There's a lot to explore here in the Ozarks, and Subarus make perfect companions for taking the scenic route. So, of course, we jumped at the opportunity to partner with Good Day NWA and 37 North Expeditions for a new series highlighting some of the most exciting parts of our region.

Adventures in the Ozarks follows Good Day NWA host Jason Suel as he explores intriguing destinations, including visiting Springdale's Ozark Highlands Nature Center and hiking with 37 North to Sassafras Spring Vineyard. Last week he drove his Subaru Outback to Hobbs State Park in Rogers, AR, for a little eagle watching. Tune-in to KNWA at 11 to tag along on the next expedition.
