Every community has been affected by COVID-19. Here at Adventure Subaru in Fayetteville, we are taking the coronavirus pandemic seriously and are abiding by regulated safety and health guidelines to keep everyone as healthy as possible. Part of those safety guidelines is following along with social distancing. However, social distancing can be challenging when you have an active family lifestyle.

We at Adventure Subaru want to do our part for all of our communities, so we came up with a guide of scenic places to visit while still keeping the recommended six feet away from others. Hopefully, this helps to alleviate the hum-drum boredom of being cooped up in the house!

11333 West Arkansas Hwy 74

West Fork, AR 72774

Nestled in the Lee Creek Valley, Devil’s Den State Park has it all from beautiful rock formations and caverns to extensive hiking trails. In all, there are 11 trails to explore, like the Butterfield Hiking Trail. Check out the rock dam too. It spans over Lee Creek that forms Lake Devil which is great for fishing and boating. You and your family can spend the day to yourselves exploring the natural beauty Arkansas has to offer.

2600 W. Judge Cummings Road

Fayetteville, Arkansas

If you and your family are into mountain biking, Fayetteville’s Kessler Mountain Trails is perfect for it. Part of the Kessler Mountain Regional Park, this scenic spot is a 620-acre woodland and recreational park incorporating a system of expert-level biking trails along with several trails for newbies and beginners, and intermediate-level loops for somewhat experienced mountain bikers who aren't yet ready to tackle the top-tier trails. The trails are a great way for you and your family to safely get exercise and quality time!

The Boston Mountains Scenic Loop

Northwest Arkansas

Just looking for a pretty place to take a drive? Check out the Boston Mountains Scenic Loop. Otherwise known as U.S. Highway 71, Boston Mountains Scenic Loop was once a stagecoach route in the mid 19th century. This beautiful drive will take you through several twists and turns through pretty mountain towns and farms. Just west of U.S. 71 is I-49 and it stretches over and above spectacular valleys and flowing streams. Both of these routes offer plenty of areas to stop for drivers to take photographs or even hike into the mountains.

War Eagle Creek

River Access

Huntsville, AR 72740

Excited to fish now that the weather is nice? Head to War Eagle Creek! Here, you can fish for catfish, bream, perch and bass. Stream-running walleye are also found in the creek. The creek flows through Withrow Springs State Park where there are some great trails to explore if you get tired of fishing. War Eagle Trail takes you along a bluff line with splendid views of the creek and valley below. Don’t forget about exploring War Eagle Cave!

We are so proud to be located in such a beautiful region that offers a lot in the way of outdoor family activities. We hope this fun guide helps our customers and your families battle daily boredom. From the Adventure Subaru family to yours, have a safe and wonderful day!
