The 2019 Forester was built on the Subaru Global Platform, using extensive high-strength steel for long-lasting quality. The Global Platform provides enhanced crash safety, a quieter and smoother ride and a whole lot of confidence.
Due to design tweaks and the move to Subaru’s Global Platform, the newest Forester has a 1.2-inch longer wheelbase and 1.4 more inches of rear legroom. Up front, passengers can enjoy more space in the center thanks to the new electric parking brake. The back is easier to access too, with a steeper C-pillar and wider rear door openings. Overall, the 2019 Forester offers 111.9 cubic feet of passenger volume — and if you’re still worried about feeling claustrophobic, you can opt for the available panoramic moonroof.
When you take home the upcoming 2019 Forester, you’ll also take home an updated Subaru Boxer engine and an updated Subaru Starlink Multimedia system. The newest Starlink system comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, so you can set the perfect soundtrack to every adventure.
