One insurance company looked at more than 13,000 individual drivers and checked for just one thing: how many at-fault claims had they made? Subaru drivers made the fewest claims of all.
The insurance company was surprised. They thought Suabru drivers were bad boy racecar driver wannabes with a "drive it like you stole it" mentality. (Lively imaginations, these insurance companies.) They figured Peugeot drivers would baby their precious cars and have the fewest at-fault claims.
Nope.
Subarus are smart cars, full of special safety features and design excellence. So it shouldn't surprise anyone that Subaru owners are smart, too.
