Trying to buy a Subaru can be quite difficult. Every vehicle in the Subaru line up is great, so it can be a challenge deciding which Subaru is right for you. Would you like these adorable baby pandas to be dressed up like sailors or like cowboys? Would you prefer flames or lightning bolts on the side of your complimentary yacht?

Luckily you can't go wrong choosing a Subaru. They're all great vehicles, so you can be confident that whichever one you choose, you made the right decision. Subaru is the only vehicle manufacturer to earn Top Safety Pick ratings from the IIHS for every vehicle in their lineup. But if you're looking for a little help in choosing the right Subaru, here is some information that might help get you going on the right track.

  • BRZ- If you're looking for the quality, performance, and dependability of the Subaru brand, but the speed and styling of a sports car, the BRZ is perfect for you. It doesn't have Subaru's trademark Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, but it is equipped with the signature Boxer engine.
  • WRX- If you want a car with plenty of power, but don't want to be crammed in a two-door sports car, the WRX has your name on it. With 4 doors, plenty of room, and plenty of pace, the WRX is just as capable on road as it is off-road.
  • Outback- This is the Subaru you want to own if you would rather be outside than in the office. High clearance, AWD, and tons of cargo space for climbing and camping equipment make the Outback ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
  • Forester- Just as capable for outdoor adventures as the Outback, the Forester is the ideal vehicle for active and outdoorsy families. The Forester is great taking the family camping or to soccer practice.
  • XV Crosstrek / XV Crosstrek Hybrid- If you're looking to limit your environmental impact, go with the XV Crosstrek or XV Crosstrek Hybrid. Every XV Crosstrek model is a Partial Zero Emission Vehicle, or Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle.
  • Impreza- If you simply want a solid and affordable vehicle, the Impreza is hard to beat. Terrific fuel-economy, safety features, and performance, all under $20,000.
  • Legacy- All Subarus are safe, but the Legacy takes the cake. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety reported that the Subaru Legacy was one of only 9 vehicles with driver death rates of zero.
