Spring is here, so it's time to make sure that your Subaru is spring ready!

  • Unless you make a point to regularly clean out your vehicle, clutter and filth can start to build up. Go ahead and take the time to do a little spring-cleaning! Vacuum out your car, clean under your seats, wipe down the inside of your windshield and dry it with a micro fiber towel or newspaper to remove film prevent streaks. Do whatever it takes to get your car clean for the spring season!
  •  Spring rains mean that you will be putting your windshield wipers to use, so it's important to check your windshield wipers. Clean your wiper blades with a mild soap solution or rubbing alcohol. This can increase the life of your windshield wipers. However if it's time to replace them, do so.
  • You can never check your tire pressure too many times. Maintaining the correct tire pressure improves gas mileage, and helps ensure that your tires last as long as they are supposed to. While you're checking your pressure, make sure the tread looks like it’s in good condition. If you’re in doubt, schedule an appointment.
  • You may feel like you have more sunlight thanks to daylight saving time, but you still need to have working lights. Check to make sure that your headlights, high beams, and brake lights are all working properly. You can turn your headlights on and get out of your vehicle to make sure they work, but no matter how fast you are, you can't do this for your taillights. Either get some assistance from a friend or family member, or safely reverse up to a large store window and check the lights in the reflection.
  • Lovely weather means more folks will be out running and cycling. It's important to be respectful and share the road with pedestrians, cyclists, and other drivers. The safest way to do this is to make sure your mirrors are all properly adjusted. This can prevent you from getting blindsided, and make sure that everyone enjoys the beautiful spring weather.
