The 2015 Subaru BRZ is Subaru’s newest addition to the 2 door coupe family and is designed for the sports car enthusiast.  Both Subaru and Toyota shared development on the car, with Toyota releasing their version of the vehicle as the Scion FR-S.

The BRZ is a light weight rear wheel drive vehicle (Subaru’s only rear wheel drive vehicle) that incorporates the renowned “Boxer” engine. The four cylinder engine is 2.0 liters and features 200 horsepower, with an average 0-60 speed of 6.8 seconds (manual). Consumers have the option of an automatic transmission or a 6 speed manual version.  The BRZ also offers fairly decent fuel economy for a sports car ranging between 22 and 34 miles per gallon.

The body of the BRZ sports a sleek and moderately aero dynamic look, and is what most would expect from a modern day sports car. By default the BRZ comes equipped with a sharp set of racing style wheels, as well as dual chrome muffler tips. Venturing into the interior of the car some may be surprised by how much leg room is available in the front of the vehicle. Naturally since the BRZ is a sports car rear seating isn’t as spacious, but what the BRZ lacks in rear seating leg room it makes up for with its impressive 6.9 cubic ft. trunk space.

The trim inside of the vehicle is fairly reserved in color and design, but manages to maintain a genuinely sporty vibe. For those with a passion for interior aesthetics, the BRZ offers the Premium, Limited, and Series. Blue trims. Future buyers will also be happy to know that the BRZ comes equipped with an array of convenient and useful technology such as navigation, HD radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and a touchscreen interface.

The BRZ starts at $25,695, and includes everything a quality sports car should, so don’t be afraid to come and take one for a test drive today!
