There aren’t many places that you can’t get to in a Subaru. Subaru vehicles are known for getting you anywhere that you want to go. But, with the world as your oyster, you’re spoiled for choice. If you live in or around Fayetteville, we’re here to help. Here are some things to do in your Subaru!
- This weekend, the Arkansas Apple Festival is taking place in Lincoln. It starts Friday October 3rd and ends Sunday October 5th. Drive over to the apple capital of Arkansas to celebrate all things apple!
- October is National Cookie Month! Take a trip to one of the many local bakeries around town or even better, drive down to the store and get the ingredients to make your own cookies.
- Get out and climb. There are tons of great climbing areas around Arkansas. We have world-class bouldering as well as rope climbing, all within a day's drive. Spots like Horseshoe Canyon Ranch and Fountain Red are international destinations thanks to the Dosage climbing flicks.
- There's no time like fall to go for a hike. We have hundreds of miles of beautiful hiking inArkansas. Whether you’re going for a day hike around Devil’s Den or you’re in for the long haul on the 218 miles of the Ozark Highlands Trail, Arkansas trails are some of the best in the country.
- As obvious as it sounds, Subarus are perfect for just going out on a drive. It’s kind of an old-fashioned pastime, but it’s still a lot of fun. Cars are commonplace now, so the novelty of driving has kind of worn off. Combine that with rising gas prices and increased environmental awareness, and it comes as no surprise that people don't go for Sunday drives anymore. However, with the changing leaves, going for a drive is way more appealing. If you feel guilty driving purely for leisure, choose a destination and take the scenic route to enjoy the fall foliage!
