The Subaru Rally America Team is giving everyone a run for their money, including each other. In the Oregon Rally, Travis Pastrana and David Higgins were neck and neck through the entire race, vying for the top spot on the podium. With a few upsets along the way, Higgins came out on top and Pastrana took second. Although Higgins believes Pastrana could have won if it weren’t for two flat tires in the final stages, Pastrana believes that Higgins drove better and deserved the win. All in all, Subaru’s Rally team is shaping up to be a great success.

The Rally Subaru website has full coverage of the race.

You can follow along with Team Subaru on lots of different social media channels to get the most out of the Subaru Rally action as it happens. Most coverage is after the fact, including TV coverage. The Oregon event won’t even air till June 1st, around the same time when the next Launch Control episodes might be out. Instead of having to wait, you can always follow the Subaru Rally Team on Twitter or Instagram

In this Oregon Rally, Higgins reached speeds of 110 mph and really put his car to the test. Even so, the only thing that went wrong was a couple of flat tires and when you’re driving that fast on gravel and dirt, that is no big surprise! If you’re looking for a fun car that can last, come in and check out the Subaru WRX STI and see what the modified cars David Higgins and Travis Pastrana are driving are built on.
