Today Adventure Subaru is closed to celebrate Memorial Day with our family and friends. So instead of shopping for a car today, why not go out and have some serious fun on your day off? After all, when you drive a Subaru, finding the next adventure and going places you haven’t been to is a natural.

Take some time to go explore a new place. Pack a picnic lunch with all your favorites, grab a map or your smartphone, and just head out to a new area on a road you’ve never been on before. You don’t know where it’ll take you but that’s half the fun, even if it means you need to turn around and go back when you reach a dead end. With your Subaru’s all-wheel drive, you don’t need to worry about a paved road turning into a gravel or a dirt road when you get out in the backwoods in Northwest Arkansas.

The Arkansas Parks and Tourism Department recently released a great driving tour map for motorcycles, and it's perfect for four wheels, too. Including favorites like the Pig Trail and the old 71 loop, it also has new routes on Arkansas highways that you might have never tried before.  We’re fans of Arkansas 7 for great views and twists and turns that make driving a lot of fun. There are also plenty of turnoffs into the woods, too, for short walks into the wilderness!

Instead of sitting inside this Memorial Day researching cars on the Internet and deciding which vehicle you’d like to purchase next, get out and play! You’ll thank yourself for it later and you might even find that you really enjoy weekend adventures and want a different car than you thought you’d like before enjoying a Memorial Day drive.
