If you love live music, we've got some great news for you. Join us Tuesday December 9th for a family concert! Trout Fishing in America will be playing their fun and family friendly music from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The first 50 guests to arrive will receive a free copy of Trout Fishing's Grammy nominated CD, "Merry Fishes".
The suggested admission for the concert is just items for the food drive. We will be accepting healthy food donations from now through January 2nd. The food drive will benefit Feed Communities as part of the "Share the Love" event.
Feed Communities is an organization based in Northwest Arkansas that looks to alleviate hunger and increase the access to healthy food. Feed Communities is the umbrella network responsible for Edible Ozarkansas, a quarterly publication dedicated to supporting and NWA’s local food community, and Feed Fayetteville, which is dedicated to "creating community food security by cultivating a sustainable local food network".
Subaru's annual "Share the Love" campaign is geared towards giving back to the community. National charities involved with this event include the ASPCA, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Meals on Wheels, and the National Park Foundation. In addition to those national charities, this year, we chose Feed Communities to be our hometown charity.
So stop by for some great live music and contribute to a great cause! In addition to some wonderful music, there will be tasty food and refreshments from local businesses including: River Grille Steakhouse, Kent Walker Artisan Cheese, Core Brewing Company, Ella's Restaurant, Sassafras Vineyards, A&A Orchards, Farmer's Table Cafe and Onyx Coffee Lab.
