Over the last six months, the expert reviewers at The Car Connection have been driving around a 2014 Forester 2.0 XT. They’ve written up another update of their review and have come to some conclusions you need to know about if you’re in the market for a new SUV. Compared to other vehicles, the Forester is a total workhorse that will do anything you ask it to and more.

The Forester does well in adverse conditions like ice and snow and The Car Connection put the Forester to the test during the first few months of their test-drive with some serious winter weather. Now that things are warming up, they’ve been using the Forester to haul supplies for spring gardening and found it has ample room for everything they needed.

In their next review update, they’ll be taking the Forester out for some off-roading to see if it can compete against the bigger, tougher vehicles in the same class. We expect that they’ll be pleasantly surprised!

If you want to find out the full review and what they have to say about the competition, be sure to visit the review page. The Car Connection named the Subaru Forester the Best Car of the Year last year and there are a lot of reasons why they love the Forester so much more than other SUVs on the market.

The Forester is a bigger SUV, however, and if you’re looking for something on the smaller side, a Crosstrek XV might be what you need -- and it still has the same capabilities as the Forester. With all-wheel drive, tons of room, and go-getting attitude, the Crosstrek XV is just as much a workhorse as the Forester.
