Ever driven through a nasty rainstorm on a twisty road in Arkansas at night? Seeing what’s ahead is next to impossible in the rain with regular headlights and fog lights can’t exactly bend around those twists and turns. But with the all-new 2015 Subaru Outback, they can. The 2015 Outback is outfitted with new special fog lights that help you see around corners.

It’s not a superpower, though it might feel like one when you’re driving a 2015 Outback with EyeSight on Arkansas roads. In fact, the 2015 Outback’s fog lights are pre-aimed to point into corners. The fog lights are steering responsive and when they’re turned off, the system activates the left or right fog light independently. Depending on your speed, steering angle, and the direction of your turn, the fog lights activate and illuminate the corner ahead of you.

Arkansas is full of roads that turn suddenly and sharply because of the unique topography of our state. Head out to the Buffalo for a kayaking trip and you’ll be sailing through turns going up hills and down. Fog lights that turn into the corner make it easier to see where you’re headed before you get there and help you avoid obstacles. In particular, animals that hang out in wooded areas might decide to use the road for an easy path and not know you’re coming until its too late. With steering responsive fog lights, you can stop before hitting a deer because you can see it well before you get there.

This is just one of the new features on the 2015 Outback that make it ideal for driving in Arkansas and exploring all the state has to offer. With spring settled in and summer on the way, we'd love to help you get ready for your weekend trips and road trips.
