Last week on Subaru America's Facebook Fan Page they revealed the new 2014 WRX and 2014 WRX STI as well as a new interactive brochure. It features great information about features of the new WRX and WRX STI but also gives the history of two iconic cars in the Subaru lineup. Be sure to take a peek, even if you're not in the market for a new WRX.
While we're in love with the new trim on the 2014 model, we
also know that this is the last in a very long line of fantastic cars. In 2015
the WRX will undergo a complete makeover and get an entirely new look. We've
seen the concept cars but there's no telling what the 2015 will be like, look
like, and feel like on the road. Subaru's clearly got a lot to live up to with
their new model and they know it.
One of the best parts of the interactive brochure is on page
7, which chronicles the history of the WRX and other Subaru models in motor
sports. One of the most legendary moments comes in 1992 at the 1000 Lake Rally
in Finland. Be sure to watch the video because it's something you don't want to
miss. Subaru created a name for themselves through Colin McRae because he
demanded a lot of his car -- and the only car that could give it all was a
Subaru.
