It's not uncommon for one Subaru owner to strike up a conversation in the parking lot with another Subaru owner, and often those conversations center on how much we love our Subarus. For Subaru owners, it's no surprise that Subaru sales are up for the fifth year in a row-- even though Subaru is the only major car maker that accomplished this during the recession.

Considering the accolades Subaru has gained for its innovative safety features, the Subaru trend should be catching on. Subaru's continual reinvestment in their line-up demonstrates that Subaru is a dependable and responsible company. The number of models stays low so the focus can be on doing the things Subaru does really well. Research and development are two key components making Subarus the safest and most economical cars on the market.

The biggest reason that Subaru sales are increasing is because Subaru offers features completely unavailable on comparable models. For instance, the Subaru Legacy is equipped with all-wheel drive whereas competitors, like the Camry, Accord, or Altima, don't even offer that option.

So what do increased sales mean for you as a Subaru owner? More friends!
