Subaru is a natural on the rally track, pushing all the individual parts to the limits to achieve victory with really fast and efficient rally cars. With last year's first foray into Rally Cross, the Subaru rally team made bold moves to improve in 2013. So far, in the first two Rally events for the National Championship, David Higgins, Team Subaru's driver, has finished in second and first place and leads the pack in the standings.

Subaru takes lessons from what the engineers at Vermont SportsCar and the Subaru Rally Team USA discover by working on their rally equipment and tries to implement as many as possible of their discoveries in new vehicles. It makes sense that Subaru is so invested in rally racing. After developing the best all-wheel drive system and using stabilizing techniques for building engines, it's a natural fit.
