While we're completely enamored with the new WRX concept that came out at the New York Autoshow, we still have a big soft spot for the 2013 WRX and WRX STI. Subaru announced back in November at the SEMA show they'd be releasing a new special edition of each in a special Tangerine Orange Pearl hue with jet-black interior styling. And guess what? We're getting a WRX in May!
If you're interested in buying the special Edition WRX, you should call us as soon as you can. We're only getting one and there are only 200 up for grabs. WRX STI's are even more rare with only 100 going to dealerships across the US. The WRX is outfitted with orange contrast stitching and orange trimmed floor mats in the interior and black wheels, badges, and wheels to contrast on the exterior.
The internals, however, remain unchanged from a standard WRX, allowing you to get peak performance and enjoy a 265 horsepower turbo flat-4 with the Subaru AWD system. Because this is the last WRX of this style that will be made, if you're a huge WRX fan, you'll want to get a hold of one of these special edition WRX's. In fact, while we love the new WRX concept, we know there's going to be a lot of changes coming. Some people say you shouldn't mess with a good thing but we're excited to see the changes the new WRX will bring in 2014.
We've only got one orange WRX up for grabs so give us a call if you're interested in buying it. We don't expect it to stay around long and expect to sell it before it even hits our lot in May.
