
- The Subaru of Indiana Automotive plant has zero landfill status. That means nothing from the plant’s manufacturing process enters landfills. Not only does Subaru’s Indiana plant have zero landfill status, but also it was the first auto plant ever to achieve this status.
- The WRX is the most ticketed car in the United States. Last fall, Insurance.com ran the numbers and discovered that more than a third of WRX drivers received a traffic citation.
- Everybody loves Subaru, even bandits from the pacific northwest.There was a stretch when Portlanders kept waking up to find empty parking spaces. According to an Oregon newspaper, 20 Subarus are reported stolen each month in the City of Roses. Last December, however, a staggering 90 Subarus were reported stolen.
