Autoweek just completed a long-term review of the 2013Subaru BRZ over the first quarter of 2013 in a wintery Michigan. You'd think that a rear wheel drive car might have trouble in winter conditions but the BRZ did just fine, clocking in just over 6,000 miles in the first three months of use. The biggest difference between a long-term review like this and a regular car review is that this one is ongoing for weeks or months while regular car reviews are based on driving for a matter of hours. When you're looking for a reliable but fun car to drive, Autoweek's long-term reviews are the place to look because they try to regularly drive the car as much as possible while still assessing it on a high scale.

The main thing we noticed about this review of the 2013 Subaru BRZ is that everyone that drove it felt "giddy" afterwards. This is a driver's car built for fun, not just a sedate sedan built for forty-mile commutes to work every day and back. The BRZ is meant to make everyone who drives it turn into a happy driver who wants to take to the twisty roads. Lucky for us here in Northwest Arkansas, there are plenty of twisty roads to be had.

We're looking forward to seeing more of the BRZ long-term review from Autoweek, especially once spring hits and they're able to take the BRZ out on the track, which they call the "natural habitat" of the BRZ. Obviously, this car is so much fun to drive that commutes will no longer be boring.
