Cars.com has just finished up the first six months of their long-term review of the 2013 Subaru BRZ and calculated out the total cost of ownership for six months at just under $2,000. They suggest that it could be much lower and that the cost will be spread out over more than six months, as the summer tires they invested in will be used again in the next year. Still, for a sports car $2,000 over six months is very low. The reviewers note that the cost of fuel was the primary expense and that most other sports cars have much lower gas mileage stats.

Cars.com writes, "'It's worth every penny,' Jackson said. 'Why? Simple: The BRZ is a blast to drive. I still smile every time I drive the thing. And, thanks to the expense/time we took to 'winterize' it, it was easy and fun to drive in winter too.'

Clearly the Subaru BRZ is the car for car enthusiasts -- the people who drive because its fun to drive, not just to get to point a to point b. While the BRZ is a great car to take you where you want to go, it's more than that.

The Subaru BRZ was designed with balance in mind, from the chassis to the flat engine design. This leads to an affordable sports car that's a blast to drive. It's within reach for more consumers than a comparable sports car from another manufacturer and still comes with all the features for which Subaru is known.   If you're a car aficionado who's looking for a car that's perfect for point a to point b but also worth every penny, come test drive a BRZ today and see just how fun they are to drive. We promise you won't be disappointed.
