Tim has over 30 years experience in the auto industry. His involvement with Nelms owned dealerships goes back to 1991. Tim has vast amounts of experience in every aspect of the car business, including owning his own new car dealership. Tim and his wife Sandy are approaching their 20th wedding anniversary. Tim is active in the First Methodist Church of Springdale. When not at Adventure, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 daughters and his grandsons, Caden and Oliver.

Marcus has a background in Business and managed the Finance Department at Adventure Subaru for 6 years before moving to Sales. He has a vast understanding of all Dealership Departments and solves problems well.
Marcus feels very fortunate to lead one of the finest sales departments in the mid-south, but believes his job has no limits. If it has to do with your transportation, you can call Marcus. He will do his best to find your solution.
In his spare time, Marcus turns his focus towards his son, Hap. The uniqueness of their Father-Son relationship is his proudest accomplishment in life. After that, everything else falls into place.
Marcus is an active member of the Fayetteville United Methodist Church and is very involved with Fayetteville Christian School. He enjoys most outdoor activities and stays healthy jogging on the Fayetteville Trail System. If you see him running or biking, stop and say Howdy!

Meet our new Service Manager, Bill Durham. Bill started working for Nelms Honda in 1978 and has over 30 years auto experience. Bill has been married to his wife, Barbara, for almost 34 years. They have 2 children, Brad and Chelsea, and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, playing guitar and volunteer work with Special Olympics and other special needs organizations.

Adventure has always been in Matt's blood - now it's in his heart too. Matt's desire for achievement made him an instant success at Adventure Subaru - and it's contagious. Matt's been a very quick study and has already become a literal expert on all things Subaru.
Matt graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Environmental, Soil and Water Science. Before joining Subaru, Matt was the manager at a Vespa Scooter store in Rogers, AR. He's an avid rock climber and outdoor enthusiast! In fact, Matt founded an outdoor camp for youth students called Arkansas Youth Adventures.

As a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas, TG is a great source of information of the area and it's residents. He knows everyone and they know him! Even better, everyone likes TG! And what's not to like!?!?
It's no secret that TG is a happy person, you know that when you first say hello. He says most of that happiness is attributed to his partner, Brian and his mom Jennifer. When you're in TG's office, you'll probably notice a picture of his 4 cats - Nicholas, Louis, Lucifer and Pandora.
TG started in the car business in 2002, prior to that he was a convenience store owner / operator. In his spare time TG enjoys manicuring his yard and dabbling in photography.

- Todd was born & raised in Fayetteville, AR. His father, Norm DeBriyn, coached the Razorback baseball team for 33 years.Todd graduated from FHS and then went to Missouri State to play baseball and graduate. He lived in Springfield, MO after graduation and was in the insurance business for 13 years. His daughter, Carly, lives in a small town outside of Springfield, MO.Todd moved back to Fayetteville, AR in 2005 and was in the mortgage & insurance business until he came to work for Adventure Subaru in August of 2011. Todd enjoys giving baseball lessons on the side at Balls N Strikes and spending time with his fiance, Nicole Young, her four kids and his daughter Carly."I've known the Nelms family and have been friends with Dennis Nelms since 7th grade. I not only enjoy & believe in the Subaru product, but I could not have picked a place that has better people to work with & for."

Susan is our new Marketing Manager and a Nelms alumni from 1996 - 2002. In fact, Susan designed the Adventure Subaru logo that can be seen on thousands of cars in NWA and beyond. With over 20 years experience in marketing and graphic design, (ad agency and in-house), she's fully equipped to grow Adventure Subaru's business and brand.
In her previous life, Susan was an assistant buyer for Jr. Dresses & Jeans at Foley's in Houston, and a Crime Scene Investigator for Santa Monica and Glendale, California Police Departments and Travis Co. Sheriff's in Austin, TX. (There was also that summer job right out of high school in a Clorox factory...)
What matters most to Susan? Family. Brother Ezra is 1/2 of the musical duo Trout Fishing in America (4-time Grammy nominees and still going strong after 30+ years!) Her son, Dylan, is 22 and enjoying great success in retail in northern California while continuing his college education. Sister Gabrielle is a talented teacher, creative writer and editor about town. Her 6'11" nephew Steven is playing pro basketball in Hungary, and her niece Dana is a wonderful artist, up-and-coming singer/songwriter, and world traveler.
What else? Susan's a thrift store junkie (but definitely NOT a hoarder), demon Scrabble player, avid fossil and rock collector, fisher-person, creative writing student, long-time volunteer for the OMNI Center for Peace, Justice & Ecology, and coffee addict.

As the head of the Internet Department at Adventure Subaru, Justin makes sure your online experience is rich with information. He knows the process of buying a car is about the customer - and the internet is one of the first tools they'll use. He's constantly improving our website to make it user friendly for our customers.
Justin is a member of Subaru's Peak Performer Club - a designation reserved for only the best Subaru salesmen in the country, and not easily achieved. If you have a difficult Subaru question, Justin is a great person to ask. His explanations are thorough and his knowledge evident. There's very little he doesn't know about a Subaru - but nothing he can't find out for you.
When he's not working, you'll find Justin backpacking the Ozarks, playing in the mountains, riding his motorcycle down a seldom used trail, or attending a good music performance. Before he was in the car business, Justin had a local radio show called "Recorded Live" on KXUA in Fayetteville.

Our favorite funny guy! Subaru knowledge delivered with a smile.Mike is a 25 year Fayetteville resident and knows Northwest Arkansas like the back of his Subaru. After many years of knowing Mike, we finally convinced him to leave the restaurant business to join our family here at Adventure Subaru in late 2009. He's been married to his wife Kelley since 1995 - they have a teenage daughter Madison.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in History. Obviously, he knows a few important dates in history, but his knowledge doesn't stop there! If you don't believe us, ask him a Subaru question!

Justin Bulla became part of the sales team in 2012, and had been a solid asset ever since. If you don't see him on the sales floor and the sun is out, you can probably find him in some sort of vessel on Beaver Lake. Justin graduated with a degree in recreation from the University of Arkansas, and although this job might not be exactly in his degree field, he's always a good resource if you are wondering how to have fun. Before working here, Justin spent time in the Pocono Mountains as a camp sailing and wakeboarding instructor, followed by running an outdoor adventure program for teens here in the Ozarks.

Zsolt has been a Fayetteville resident 21 years, but you can recognize him from his Hungarian accent. He is the newest member of the sales team, but has already picked up a solid knowledge of everything Subaru.
Zsolt is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in business management, but he isn't all business. He enjoys sailing (3-time Hungarian national sailing champion), hiking, traveling and gardening. However, nothing beats spending time with his wife and three precious daughters.

Kenny's adventurous spirit has taken him to many beautiful spots: The Virgin Islands to enjoy boating the Caribbean's warm waters and many years in Portland, Oregon where he skied, hiked, camped and fished in the Cascade mountains. Yet one of his favorite spots on earth is right here in the Ozarks where he loves to spend time on the Buffalo River and Lake Ouachita fishing, boating and hanging out with his friends and family. His wife Chava and son Tate are his favorite travel companions.

Originally from Hondouras, Angie and her husband Richard have 3 daughters; Mariel, 20, Sharon, 16, and Angelica, 11. The Madden family enjoys eating out, movies, and spending time at the lake or Devil's Den. Angie is an amazing cook - her specialty is Pollo Guisado.

Clay's career in the car business began in 1981 - his tenure with the Nelms family began in 1996. He started his tenure with Nelms Honda in 1996, and by 1999 Clay had earned his Acura Master Technician certificate.
Clay has been with Adventure Subaru since its beginning and has been a Subaru Senior Master Technician since 2004. Clay has been married to his wife Shailee for 27 years. Their son, Clay Jr., is now a member of the Adventure Subaru family, working as a service writer. He also has a daughter Nicole and a granddaughter, Claire.
In his spare time Clay has a variety of interests that include small mouth bass fishing, astronomy, and building Hot Rods. Clay once built a car nicknamed "The Beast" - a 700+ Horsepower 4 cylinder WRX that showed the world what a All-Wheel-Drive Vehicle could do!
He truly is an expert on everything working part on a Subaru. It would be hard to find a technician with more knowledge than him - anywhere. In fact, many factory experts ask Clay real life questions concerning new model break-ins. He's a true asset to every customer we have!

Lex started in the car business in 1989 as a Service Technician with Bob Clark Toyota in Springdale. His relationship with a Nelms owned dealership began in 2000 at Nelms Honda and continued with Adventure Subaru in 2002.
Lex is a Subaru Certified Senior Master Technician and a stickler for the finer details of service. Funny enough, Lex even wears gloves when he's working and has some of the cleanest fingernails you'll ever see on a Service Technician. You can catch Lex and his boat making waves at Beaver Lake from time to time. Oh, yeah, and he's a great cook too!
Lex is consumed with doing the job right! You're in good hands with him.

Logan graduated from Northwest Technical Institute in 2004 and came straight to work at Adventure Subaru. Logan is a family man and the proud father of 2 children. He enjoys fishing, mountain biking, chess and poker. In fact, if it's a game of skill, he's probably playing it.
His great sense of humor fills the shop with a great mood, and his great sense of mechanics keeps your Subaru running smooth. He's learned the details of repair from some of the best in the business and has grown to be an excellent Service Technician. Logan is a testament to the Adventure Subaru philosophy of Service. One day soon, he'll be doing the training.

Our newest member of the service department, Robbie started at Adventure Subaru in 2007. Robbie is very active in his church and enjoys riding his 4-wheeler in his spare time. Robbie married in 2010 and is enjoying the married life.
Robbie not only makes sure your car gets the proper maintenance it needs, he also knows how to inspect for problems - before they come problems. Robbie is developing his skills and will surely become a full-blown service technician in the near future.

37 Years in the Car Business
Larry has been married to his wife Diana for 18 years. They have 4 children, Tracy, Jana, Rami and Nick. In 2010, Larry's son Nick joined the parts department - they work side by side every day. Larry got his start with Wheeler Motor company in 1972 and worked there for the first 20 years of his career. Larry spent 24 years as a technician before moving to the parts side of the business.
Larry can often be found working late and making sure everything is neatly organized on the parts department shelves. His attention to detail and extensive service background will help you find the right parts in any situation. He's an important asset for every customer we have.
Larry is a motorcycle enthusiast and retired bass player. On nice days, he often rides his Honda Shadow to work! He's even ridden it on a few rainy days too!
